"Nothing can happen till you swing the bat."

At some point in the early 2000's, Brenden saw Haruko Haruhara ride into Mabas on her Vespa with a Rickenbacker bass guitar strapped to her back, and from that moment on he knew exactly who he was going to be. They say children are like sponges, and I guess, perhaps when they aborb the events of FLCL, they go on to play in an anime tribute band and grow really cool mustaches. Kinda funny how that happens, huh?

Brenden joined The Anime Band with a unique discography that some of the other crew members grew up with as some of their favorite records. Throughout high school and into his early college years, Brenden was the main songwriter and guitarist for pop-punk act Shirts Vs. Skins touring regionally and performing on festivals like Vans Warped Tour. As the band reached adulthood, they all began to start the next chapters of their lives, and decided to lay their band to rest, holding on to their memories and the friendships they made along the way. Shortly after this time, Brenden started a funk inspired pop-rock band called Vertigo which played for several years, calling it quits shortly before the global COVID-19 pandemic. He was then approached by Luke Crouse to come out of retirement to play guitar for his current band, Luke and The Second Coming. It wasn't long after that, Brenden, Luke, and Zack, were all approached by their manager, to become part of Anime Night and officially form The Anime Band.
